Rasmus Appel, trained as an industrial designer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, hails from Bornholm and is inspired by boat building and the beautiful oak dinghies known for their fine proportions, constructions and joints. The result is the Vitrine Boderne, a simple piece of furniture that adorns every home.
