GamFratesi's inspiration for the Suspence™ lamp series is an expression of the desire to transfer a sequence of movements into a physical form. The shape of the lamp was designed by pulling – an elementary movement under the influence of physical forces. This tensile force manifests itself at the upper end of the luminaire in a small curvature. Suspence™ thus represents an organic form with soft curves. An infinity diffuser at the bottom focuses the light, prevents glare and – true to its name – creates an aesthetic optical light illusion. By removing the diffuser, the light beam can be amplified.
