Hans J. Wegner created the CH53 Footstool in 1966, which clearly shows his passion for first-class craftsmanship and everyday functionality. With a solid wood frame and a seat made of hand-woven paper cord, the stool is an ideal complement to the CH44 Lounge Chair due to its simple and elegant shape, but also cuts an excellent figure solo – whether in the hallway, in the bedroom or in the kitchen.
