Chef's knife with stainless steel handle The chef's knife is the European counterpart to the Asian Santoku knife. The blade is not as wide as the Santoku, but pointed. It can be used to cut vegetables and herbs, but also to cut fish and meat. The elegant handle made of stainless steel with its seamless design meets the highest hygienic requirements. The blade consists of 64 layers of particularly corrosion-resistant Damascus steel, which protect a core of V-Gold-10 steel. Its extreme hardness (61±2 HRC) ensures that the blade remains sharp over the long term with appropriate care. Due to the wide blade, the large chef's knife has a convex cut. This allows easier handling of the knife as well as a long-lasting sharpness. Stainless steel handle and damask steel blade look like a single piece and are therefore particularly easy to clean. The chef's knife is available in two different sizes:The small chef's knife has a blade length of 15cm and a width of max. 4cm.
